How to replace the silicone sealing layers

Remove the silicone rubber as you can see on the image.

Remove the transparent adhesive tape as much as you can.

Clean and remove the remaining sticker patches with domestically used gasoline.

Sticky patches could remain on the surface, what you need to remove.

Put 3-4 layers of paper towel in a plate. Pour the gasoline in the plate.

Soak the lid for 20 minutes in the plate. It will help to dissolve the remaining patches.

Clean again the lid with the domestically used gasolnie and remove all the grease.

Remove the dust with masking tape from the surface of the lid.

Stick the adhesive tape in the right position

Press the adhesive down so that it sticks evenly everywhere

Cut out the inside part of the lid with a really sharp box cutter. Start from the middle.

Cut around the adhesive tape on the outside part of the lid.

Remove the top not sticky layer of the double adhesive tape.

Remove the dust from the backside of the silicone sealing too. (backside – the smooth side)

Drop the silicone sealing on the adhesive casually. Position it more or less.

Now put the silicone precisely in the perfect position with small movements.

After the positioning, push hardly the silicone sealing all over the surface to stick properly.

If it’s a narrow lid, cut the extra silicone part.

Remove the silicone rubber and the adhesive tape the same way like with the lid. Scroll up and follow the 1 & 2 steps of the lid instructions. .

Clean and remove the remaining adhesive patches with domestically used gasoline.

Put 3-4 layers of paper towel in a plate. Pour the gasoline in the plate.

Stand the Porozit upside down and soak the top for 20 minutes in the plate. It will help to dissolve the remaining patches.

Remove the dust with masking tape from the surface.

Remove the white part of the double adhesive with the help of a cutter.

Stick the adhesive tape in the right position.

Press the adhesive down so that it sticks evenly everywhere

Cut out the inside part with a really sharp box cutter. Start from the middle.

Cut around the adhesive tape outside too.

Remove the dust from the backside of the silicone sealing too. (backside – the smooth side)

Remove the top not sticky layer of the double adhesive tape.

Drop the silicone sealing on the adhesive casually. Position it more or less.

Now put the silicone precisely in the perfect position with small movements.

You can remove the extra overhanging adhesive tape with domestically used gasoline.

Remove the dust form the upper surface of the silicone sealing as well.
